Electric Bike and Trail Hike
Southeast Alaska's only electic bike activity is a blast!
This an easy and enjoyable electric-assist bicycle ride on the road to nowhere - the end of Ketchikan's paved road system and to the edge of a forested wilderness wonderland.
Take a guided hike though dense rainforest, along a stream featuring a beautiful waterfall and a late season salmon run.
See a wide variety of flora and fauna and beautiful beach views from which we often watch seals swimming, salmon jumping, and the occasional humpback or Orcas feeding near the shoreline or Orcas come by.
Bike for 10 miles and hike about 1.25 miles with our professional and knowledgeable guides.
Snacks. a great view, Alaska-brewed beer and a profound sense of nature await you upon your return to the marina.
Requirements
- No experience necessary, but you will have to sign a waver stating you have ridden a bike within the last 2 years.
- Must be 16 year or older
- Dress in layers that are apporpriate for the weather of the day of the tour.
