Ice Climbing on the glacier! This outstanding trip is the ultimate Alaskan glacier adventure!
Three hours of hiking and climbing over the rugged terrain of the glacier. Upon landing, your guide teaches the basics of glacier travel and then leads your group on an exploration of the most pristine and remote areas of the glacier.
If you’re looking for the adventure of a lifetime, this is for you!
Opportunities abound for adventure photos, as you are introduced to and practice basic climbing and rope techniques enabling you to safely climb and descend ice walls.
No experience necessary, but the amount of walking is extensive and often on steep terrain with some technical climbing. You should be in good physical condition and have an open mind for adventure.
Requirements
- Good physical shape and able to walk/climb for 3 hours on uneven, moderately steep terrain.
- Minimum age 15.
- Selfie sticks, ipads and drones are not allowed for safety reasons.
