Dogs and Ice Adventure
The only way to experience both aspects of a glacier! Visit the dog camp on the snow covered part of the glacier and enjoy 40 minutes of dogsledding. Then take another helicopter flight for a 20 minute landing on the glacier ice.
What a value! This trip is a combination of the Icefield Excursion and the Dogsled activities, but at a much lower cost than if you do both of them separately.
Begin by soaring over towering mountain tops, untouched wilderness, picturesque alpine meadows, and crystal lakes. Fly over the impressive Juneau Icefield and see glaciers up close. Land at the dogsled camp on the snow covered part of the glacier, home of the dog-mushing camps.
You choose. Do you want to drive the dogs or just enjoy the ride while curled up under blankets on the cozy sled? You also get time to get to know the dogs and see their love of pulling the sleds!
Then lift off for more flightseeing and a second landing on the ice. You’ll be astonished at the ice features, pools, crevasses, blue glacial pools, and much more!
See places like Wonderland, Glacier King, the Mendenhall Towers, and Devil’s Paw. This itinerary is flexible and your pilot is free to create the best possible flightseeing based on the weather and glacier conditions
