Glacier Flightsee & Dog Sled Alaska Dogsled Adventure
Make Your Alaskan adventure dream come true! Glacier flightseeing and Dog Sledding - 2 of Alaska’s most desirable activities!
Dogsledding is inextricably linked with Alaska. From the days when it was the primary mode of winter transportation to today’s ongoing Iditarod. When you think of Alaska, thoughts of dogsledding aren’t far behind!
You’ll begin by soaring over towering mountain tops, untouched wilderness, picturesque alpine meadows, and crystal lakes. Fly over the impressive Juneau Icefield and see glaciers up close. Land at the dogsled camp on the snow covered part of the glacier, home of the dog-mushing camps.
Your guide greets you as you step out onto the snow-capped glacier. You’re sure to be captivated by the scenery high above as you hear stories about the famous Iditarod. The 1000-mile dog sled race from Anchorage to Nome. The highlight of your tour is a visit to the dog sled camps where you’ll spend about 40 minutes sledding and with the dogs.
Imagine standing on the runners or being comfortably seated on the sled (your choice) while a team of Alaskan Huskies dog team lopes across the ancient ice field!
