Auke Bay Sea Kayak
A classic kayaking experience! Watch from your kayak as fishing and whale watch vessels make their way to the fjords. Kayak through pristine Fritz Cove while enjoying incredible ocean, island and mountain views and a variety of wildlife.
Requirements
- Must be 8+ years old.
- Must be able to swim.
- Kayaks can accommodate a maximum torso (waist-chest) diameter of 55 inches (140cm). Maximum weight limit is 600lbs (272kg) for double kayaks. People taller than 6’2 (188cm) may find operating the rudder challenging.
- Release of liability form will be signed at the meeting point.

Trip Activities: Guided kayak trip in tandem kayaks through Auke Bay Harbor.
Duration: About 3.5 hours total, 2.5 hours on the water.
Tour Operator Provides: The tour operator will provide rain jacket and pants, all necessary gear, a snack and a beverage.
You Bring: Dress in layers of quick dry fabrics with a hat, a weather-resistant jacket with hood or a hat, fleece gloves (weather dependent), warm thick socks, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and binoculars.
