Fly, Hike and Packraft Adventure
This awesome excursion take you to wild Alaska where you will flightsee on your way to a glacier lake where you will packraft to a glacier for a hike. While on the glacier you will get a feel for the ice as you explore glacial features.
Your floatplane will take off from the water and fly you through Juneau's beautiful fjords to the Taku Inlet, a gateway to the glaciers of the Juneau Ice Field. Keep an eye out for bears, mountain goats and moose along the way.
After landing on Norris Lake you will hike over the glacially carved terrain to a cove where your packraft awaits. Here, you will be outfitted in single person packrafts and introduced to paddling techniques by your guides. Once you launch you will paddle past ice bergs while taking in the stunning mountain and glacier landscapes around you.
Beach your boat right on the glacier and strap on your microspikes for the hike of a lifetime across the moon-like glacier landscape featuring crevasses, glacier pools, moulins, and other incredible ice features. Remember, glacier features are constantly changing throughout the season, just like the ebb and flow of our glaciers.
Upon completion of your glacier hike, slide back into your packraft and paddle back to your floatplane and your flightu back to Juneau.
